The Detroit Design Festival is a local event that brings designers together to celebrate the design community in Detroit.
This project is a fake identity for the Detroit Design Festival. I experimented with the idea that Detroit is growing and building out of dirt. The crystal forms represent beauty, growth, excitement, and worth.
Ghost World Poster Series
A typeface and icon set were created based off of the main character in the movie Ghost World. The main character struggles with her femininity and is disconnected from the world. The letters and icons do not fully connect and are the stereotypical feminine color to represent her struggles with identity.
